Kite Flight
THE YEAR IS 2025.
A ROUTINE SAMPLE COLLECTION MISSION IN DEEP SPACE HAS TURNED INTO A DARING ESCAPE.
THIS PLANETS DEADLIEST LIFEFORM HAS BEGUN TO SWARM.
YOU MUST ESCAPE KITE FESTIVAL ISLAND.
This game has basic controller support :)
Known Issues:
- If loading is slow try lowering the max_kites setting
- Lag spikes on first pressing start due to unoptimised level load
- On some systems the level may freeze after the starting animation, try press ESCAPE_KEY > main menu
- May be some sound artifacts on Firefox
- Some versions of Firefox don't like WASD input - try arrow keys
- Controller does not seem to work on chrome

I really like the concept! I think it would be nice for it to be more frantic, but it is a really cool idea.
I got killed just after starting because a kite spawned in the same place as the UFO, but besides that really good submission!

It can be a bit easy for more advanced players, I think I'll have to add a difficulty slider!
The kites spawning on you at the start is a bit of a bug, in fact the player starts with extra health because there always seems to be a collision right off the bat
